The first event was the NBA Fit Challenge for boys and girls ages 8 to 14, held Nov. 13 at Burdette Hall. The second event will be the NBA Dribble, Dash and Swish for boys and girls ages 7 to 12. This event will be held also at Burdette Hall on Friday, Nov. 27, with  late registration at 6 p.m. and competition starting at 6:30 p.m. In both events participants have the chance to advance to regional and national competitions. Winners must have a copy of their birth certificates in order to be eligible to advance or receive any awards. Early registration can be done at the San Carlos Boys &amp; Girls Club. Raven Germaine received six ribbons, including two in first-place and a Special Merit award. Joseph Lee was also awarded a Special Merit ribbon in addition to first-place. Other winners of first-place ribbons in this division were Ryanna Toburen and Katie Griffin.</description>

People with limited incomes may have a hard time paying for their medicines, but help is available if they apply. Individuals with gross incomes of up to &#036;1,354 per month, or up to &#036;1,822 for couples, may qualify for extra help to pay premiums, co-payments and deductibles for Medi-care prescription drug plans.</description>
