The pilot, whose name is not being released pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate the accident to determine exactly what happened.
Hughes stressed that he was just speculating about what might have happened based on the evidence at the scene and said nothing will be official until the NTSB has concluded its investigation.
According to the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) registry, the plane was a PZL-Mielec M-18 Dromader owned by A-S Ranch Inc., out of Fort Benton, Mont. BLM public information officer Diane Drobka said the pilot was not from Montana.
Drobka said she could not provide anymore information other than saying, "The pilot worked for a private company and had no affiliation with the BLM other than attending this class."

In literature there are many scientific indications that the preparation of the sacred liquid (Haoma),could not contain a Hallucinogen-Entheogen drug (cf publications of Harry Falk, Jan Houben, Frits Staal and the late Mary Boyce).
As a plant-physiologist and toxicologian, I did some study about the preparation of Parahom (as described in Avesta). From the scientic point of view it is impossible that the sacred drink is hallucinogen.
I do not understand the arguments of the Pima's Church of Cognizance.
It is as stupid as the assert: Jesus used Marihuana. "
