More camps scheduled in Gila Valley this week

Soccer camp runs

Monday-Friday

The Los Angeles Galaxy Pro Soccer team in conjunction with the Gila Valley American Youth Soccer Organization will feature a week-long soccer camp Monday-Friday.

The camp will be located at Safford High School and participants from 5 to 7 years of age will be tutored from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. ($64). Those 8 and older will work out from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. ($94).

The instructors are Major League Soccer certified and most are active semi-pro players and coaches or members of the Galaxy organization.

Those registering early for wrestling camp receive free tee-shirt.

Anyone who registers for Rusty Cook's Wrestling Clinic by June 7 will receive a free wrestling tee-shirt.

The clinic takes place at Safford High School from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 28.

The camp cost is $35 and lunch is free. Camp participants range from grades 1-12. For more information contact Herman Andrews at 428-3955 or 428-4895.
