A special Chamber of Commerce membership breakfast will feature the latest information from the Phelps Dodge mining company. The Focus on Phelps Dodge program will feature presentations on the development of the new Safford mine.

The Chamber breakfast meeting will present information on various Phelps Dodge operations in Graham and Greenlee counties. Program highlights will also include a presentation on the expansion of the Morenci mine, workforce development and recruitment, Phelps Dodge mine technology developments and the latest news on the proposed merger between Phelps Dodge and Freeport.

The Focus on Phelps Dodge program is Thursday, March 29, at the Graham County General Services Building, Assem-bly Room, 921 Thatcher Blvd. in Safford, at 7 a.m. Cost of the breakfast is $10 per person.
