Roadrunner Rehab/Grant Insurance and Morris Funeral lead coed softball league

Two undefeated teams remain in the coed softball league at the Graham County Fairgrounds.

Roadrunner Rehab/-Grant Insurance (6-0) and Morris Funeral (5-0) are at the head of the pack.

Roadrunner Rehab-/Grant Insurance beat Faunce’s (1-3) 13-4 on Monday night.

Nikki’s Hard Rock (5-0) continued its winning ways and leads the men’s slow pitch league.

It posted a 19-16 slugfest win over Volvo Rents (4-1) and a 28-4 pasting of Haralson Tire (0-4) on Thursday night.

Tri-County Materials is in second place at 2-0, and it is followed by Volvo Rents, Pepsi (4-2), Granberry’s Sluggers (3-2), Boiler Dogs (1-2), Morris Funeral Under-takers (1-3), the Auto Spa (1-3), Haralson Tire and DRG Technologies (0-4).

Jay’s Construction (3-1) is in third place in the coed league, and it is followed by Cable One (3-2), Merle’s Automotive (3-2), New Life City Church (2-2), Budweiser (2-2), TA’s Specialties (2-4), Faunce’s, Heaven’s Best Carpet Cleaning (0-4), Morris Monuments (0-4) and Total Chaos (0-3).

Monday begins week six of a scheduled 15-week season.

All games are played Monday through Thursday evenings at the Graham County Fairgrounds.
