BYU Dance Company coming to Thatcher on Oct. 17

The Brigham Young University Ballroom Dance Company is coming to Thatcher on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m., in the Eastern Arizona College Fine Arts Auditorium.

Showcasing a stage performance of spectacular dance formations, solo routines and ensemble numbers, the BYU Ballroom Dance Company presents ÒCapture the Magic.Ó In the style of a major Broadway production, the showcase moves from the graceful glide of evening gowns and tuxedos to the upbeat and energetic sizzle of Latin-style dance. Colorful costumes, diverse repertoire and exceptional choreography make this show an instant audience favorite.

In addition to performances, the Ballroom Dance Company competes consistently in national and international events. The reigning United States national dance champions in formation dance, the team has also made a reputation at the prestigious British Formation Champ-ionships.

For an evening of glamour and excitement ÒCapture the MagicÓ is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
