Graham County Fair is family life at its finest

The 2007 Graham County Fair, themed Family Life at Its Finest, is Oct. 11-14 at the fairgrounds. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday, Oct. 11 Ð 5 p.m.: Fairgrounds open; 6 p.m.: exhibit buildings open; 6 p.m.-midnight: carnival opens Ð pay one price and ride.

Friday, Oct. 12 Ð 10 a.m.: Fair parade Downtown Main Street in Safford; noon: carnival and exhibit buildings open and talent competition starts; 10 p.m.: exhibit buildings close.

Saturday, Oct. 13 Ð 9 a.m.: Fairground gates open; noon: carnival and exhibit buildings open and talent competition starts; 10 p.m.: exhibit buildings close.

Sunday, Oct. 14 Ð 1 p.m.: Carnival and exhibit buildings open Ð pay one price and ride; 6 p.m.: carnival and exhibit buildings close; 6-8 p.m.: exhibit pickup; 8 p.m.: fairgrounds close.

There will be featured entertainment Friday and Saturday. A detailed schedule of events will be published in the Oct. 10 issue of the Eastern Arizona Courier.
