Also on the album is “The Sofa League of Heroes,” written as the theme song of a TV sitcom revolving around the NFL season. These two songs, as well as the other 10, have received praises such as “distinct and different” from Capitol Basement, Seattle, Wash.

After leaving the service, Quin moved to Hollywood. He landed roles in commercials and did walk-on roles for TV sitcoms. While volunteering at a veterans hospital in Los Angeles, a nurse recognized Quin was suffering from post traumatic stress from the war and he attended a treatment program.
After a suicide attempt and mix-up with drugs, he decided to get away. “One day I passed a travel agency and went in and ordered a one-way ticket to Paris, France,” Quin said.
Quin also visited England and Ireland while on his trip. “The trip changed my life,” he said.
After returning to the United States, Quin began writing music, poetry and short stories.
In 2005, Quin teamed up with producer John Mahoney of RavenPheat Recording Studios. “I had put some basic guitar chords to some of my poems and was looking to make just one album a year for the rest of my life,” Quin said.
“Brando Quin My Life” was released in Nov. 2006, “Brando Quin The Journey” in September 2007 and “Brando Quin Crossings” is scheduled to be released in April 2008.
Quin asks that anyone from the class of 1980 Thatcher High School who would be interested in being in a music video to call him 928-348-7957.
