Benefit roping Saturday to assist Wright family
A benefit roping will be held at the Safford Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 22, at 9 a.m. Proceeds will go to the Curtis Wright family to help pay for medical bills.

Rotary Scholarship Dinner and Auction has western theme
The Gila Valley Rotary Club is excited to once again host its annual Scholarship Dinner on Friday, March 21, at 7 p.m. This year’s dinner, which is described as “a good ol’ western dinner with country and western entertainment,” will be held in the Graham County Fairgrounds’ Agricultural building.

4-H Community Club kicks off a new year
The first 4-H Community Club meeting of the year was held Feb. 19 at the Graham County Extension office in Solomon. At the meeting, the club name was chosen and club officers were elected. Bylaws for the club were also revised and approved.
