Arthur Tony Ramirez, 55, of San Jose expired after rolling his 1995 Ford pickup truck early Tuesday morning.

Ramirez was allegedly experiencing chest pains and was driving himself to the Mount Graham Regional Medical Center when the accident occurred at about 5:50 a.m.

Ramirez's sister, Connie Orosco, said he was a veteran who cared deeply for his family.

Funeral services will be held Friday evening at the Safford Funeral Home, and a Mass will be held at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Saturday at 1 p.m.

A memorial fund has been set up at the Bank of America to assist the family with funeral expenses. Orosco said Ramirez did not have any insurance and his untimely passing has created a large hardship for his wife and children. Call 792-7358 for more information on how to help or donate.
