Man looking for relatives of Royal H. Angle

Published on Sunday, July 20, 2008 4:14 PM MST

Dear Editor:

I am trying to locate relatives of Royal H. Angle. He was stationed at the U.S. Army's Bushnell Hospital in Brigham City, Utah, during WW II. Mr. Angle was an Army Specialist and worked in supply as a clerk at Bushnell. Mr. Angle enlisted in the Army in Los Angeles, Calif., on Oct.15, 1942. His Army records indicate that his official place of residence at the time of his enlistment was San Diego.

My research shows that Royal Howard Angle was born in Safford on July 20, 1920. Unfortunately, my research also shows that he died in San Diego on May 7, 1955. I cannot locate his obituary nor his gravesite anywhere in Arizona, so assume he is not buried there. Other than what I have already mentioned, information for Royal Angle on the genealogy Web sites is limited.

I can be contacted at sulphurcreek@gmail.com. Any information I can get will be very much appreciated.

Sincerely,

Charles R. "Chuck" Berchtold

Brigham City, UT
