Recent participant recommends Gila Valley Leadership class

Dear Editor:

Having recently graduated from the Gila Valley Leadership Class III, I am writing to express my sincere appreciation to the Graham County Chamber of Commerce, the supporters and participants of this outstanding program.

One day a month for 10 months was devoted to learning about our community from those who are involved in the various aspects of its government, development, challenges, opportunities, everyday workings and maintenance. Leadership development is emphasized.

Gila Valley Leadership participants gain insight and knowledge to help them understand and be more connected to their community as well as improve their leadership skills and abilities. I was so very impressed with the sincere effort on the part of everyone involved with the classes and workshops to make each session interesting, motivating and valuable.

This is an amazing opportunity for the residents of Graham and Greenlee counties. I recommend it highly.
