Livestock meeting is Aug 13

There will be a Graham County Junior Livestock Auction Committee meeting Wednesday, Aug. 13, 6 p.m., in the upstairs meeting room of the 4-H Extension office, 2100 S. Bowie Ave., Solomon. All youths and their parents planning to sell their animals at the Graham County Fair are highly encouraged to attend. This includes all Open, FFA and 4-H youths.

Participants are required to have the following paperwork at the time they weigh their animals in at the fair:

Sheep and steers – bill of sale, livestock financial records, quality assurance certification and seasonal pass (self-inspection papers).

Hogs – bill of sale, livestock financial records, quality assurance certification and health inspection papers.
