Epifanio Mendoza Mendoza

May 26, 1934-Aug. 9, 2008

Epifanio Mendoza Mendoza went to be with the Lord on Aug. 9, 2008. He was a resident of Albuquerque, N.M., since 1959. He was born in Anthony, N.M., and was raised and worked in Morenci.



Mr. Mendoza was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Rosie S. Mendoza, March 22, 2002; and his daughter, Rosanna Mendoza; brother Ray Mendoza; and sister Yolanda Avalos.

Mr. Mendoza served two years in the Army during the Korean conflict, in the 95th Combat Engineers. He retired from the City of Albuquerque in 1987 in ISD.

Mr. Mendoza is survived by his son, Epifanio S. Mendoza III (Mary); grandchildren Roseanna Men-doza, Epifanio J. Mendoza IV (Lisa), Cora Columbel (Jared), Sonya Mendoza and Elizabeth Mendoza; and great-grandchildren Angelenna Hawkins, Esperanza Hawkins, Isidro Hawkins, Annette Felix, Epifanio C. Mendoza V and Analicia Mendoza. He is greatly missed by his family and friends.
