Smiling seniors

Thatcher seniors, from left, Madison Rowan, Jeni Romney, Jessica Setlow and Megan Jorgensen proudly hold their championship trophy after winning the Pima Invitational Volleyball Tournament on Saturday. Slumbering Eagles awake in second half at Willcox

Thatcher’s performance in the first half at Willcox on Friday evening left much to be desired, but the Eagles bounced back in the second half to defeat the Cowboys 28-8. Much of the game was played in hard-driving rain, which made for cool, wet conditions.
