Eric Bibb gospel-blues concert is Nov. 18
Back by popular demand, gospel-blues singer, songwriter, guitarist and recording artist Eric Bibb returns to the Gila Valley for what is expected to be a sold-out concert. He will perform Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Eastern Arizona College’s Lee Little Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Richards Music/Radio Shack and the Graham County Chamber of Commerce.

Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand perform at the Safford Center for the Arts on Nov. 22. The five-man band is made up of Ryan Shupe, Craig Miner, Bart Oldson, Roger Archibald and Ryan Tilby. The band formed in Salt Lake City and is well-known for its hit single “Dream Big,” which was used as the theme song for NBC’s prime-time show, “Three Wishes”, hosted by Amy Grant.

Science City welcomes Arizona-Sonora Desert Muesum
A kestrel bird, desert tortoise and gopher snake from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum kept kids excited, squirmy and interested at the Science City program Nov. 15 at the Safford City Library. Julie Strom, an education specialist from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, led a presentation and craft on desert life. Children ages kindergarten through second grade learned why cacti survive better in desert Arizona than trees do, and about the life cycle of a saguaro cactus.
