The three-credit class will be held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and will focus on the various sources of ethics and a variety of tools for making good, ethical decisions. The class will spend a good deal of time reviewing actual cases, most of which have had coverage in the popular press.
Business instructor Mark Anderson will teach business ethics in the spring, and he strongly emphasizes how important ethics are in business. "Ethical decisions do, in fact, lead to improved success and profitability for businesses," Anderson said. "To help illustrate this concept to students I plan to incorporate information regarding AIG, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and some of the other more recent problem companies we've heard about this fall."
To register for this class contact the Records and Registration Office at 428-8270 or register online at www.eac.edu.
