Denny’s Restaurant looking for 50 employees

Approximately 50 employees are needed to staff the new Denny’s restaurant located near the Marriott Springhill Suites hotel in Thatcher.

There will be a job fair at the hotel Dec. 15 and 16 from 1 to 5 p.m. on Monday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to Kelly Edmonds, an administrative assistant for GB Restaurants Inc., Denny’s already has managers lined up but is seeking cooks, servers and hostesses.

According to Kristina Floyd, also from GB Restaurants Inc., employee wages vary between $9 to $12 an hour for cooks, $4.25 plus tips for servers and minimum wage to $8 for the hostess positions.

The restaurant opens Jan. 18.
