Sheriff’s office issues Level 2 sex offender alert

The Graham County Sheriff’s Office is releasing information as required by ARS 13-3825, the Community Notification of Sex Offenders Law. The offenders have indicated they will be living within Graham County. Both have been convicted of a sex offense which allows for community notification, but neither is wanted by the Graham County Sheriff’s Office at this time.

Sean Joseph Fulker-son, 31, is a white male, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 178 pounds, with blue eyes and red hair. He resides at 959 W. Cholla St., Safford. He was convicted Sept. 8, 2008, by Graham County Sup-erior Court for attempted molestation of a child, a family female victim.

Albert Charles Leachet, 47, is a white male, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 189 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He resides at 10080 W. Cottonwood Wash Road, Pima. He was convicted May 5, 1989, at the age of 27, by Graham County Superior Court for sexual conduct with a minor, a female victim under the age of 10.

This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is believed that an informed community is a safer community. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated.

" I searched the DPS Sex offender web-site and Fulkerson is a Level 3 offender (High Risk) and Leachet isn't even listed. Does the County need to update the DPS? Their is also a DES certified Day-Care Provider at 10178 W. Cottonwood Wash Rd. "

" What was he in prison for, certainly not for this molestation charge in 1989 because I have seen him off and on through the years, living in Grahm and Greenlee counties. Charley always was off his rocker, I guess that comes from being hit by a train TWICE in his life, but I never imagined he was a child molester.
