Non-Apaches oppose progress in Bylas for selfish reasons

Dear Editor, Recently I attended the Fort Thomas Governing School Board special meeting (May 14) at the Bylas Learning Center. The first item on the agenda was kindergarten class moving to Bylas Learning Center from Fort Thomas. There was a strong opposition expressed by several non-Apache school staff. They don’t want a kindergarten class to start in Bylas Learning Center next school year, yet nearly all the kindergarten will be Apaches.
