Dear Editor:

This is an open letter to Mike Rowan and the crew of Rowan Rock, Eastern Arizona Glass and American Legion Post 32!

Mike Rowan at Rowan Rock and Eastern Arizona Glass (Amerizona) and American Legion Post # 32 has provided the most incredible product and service to us.

I had stripped our flooring down to the concrete two years ago with the intent of resurfacing with a concrete dye and a silica texture to prevent my wife and myself from falling on slick floors. After having a vacation in the Veteran's Hospital for a month after a severe fall, it took two years to pay for the second helicopter ride I’ve had in my life. I don’t remember either time.

Rowan utilized a vast knowledge of concrete products and suggested a concrete dye from AmeriPolish with a texturing, sandy, anti-slipping surface to not only be beautiful in subdued colors of autumn, but it also feels really good on my bare feet! This provides a very comfortable traction to keep our feet from slipping, as falling is the single most dangerous thing we can do in our own homes and is the cause of the most severe injuries.

Mike Rowan and his crew did exactly what they said they were going to do in every manner. This in and of itself is the most valuable aspect of what Mike and his crew did. They moved all of our furniture out and back into the house with extreme care, as though they were moving their own. The care they demonstrated to us and the safety attitude possessed and acted upon was very impressive.

Mike sanded the entire floor and cleaned it like I could have never done without harsh chemicals or equipment. He then sprayed the AmeriPolish down in very even, soft layers of undulating, diminutive, varying colors, which change their hues slightly when light shines on this concrete sealer from different angles. The finished project is gorgeous.

The cleanup for this type of flooring is phenomenally easy, simply by running a Shop-vac across it and in most serious cases a damp mop for dust when necessary. This AmeriPolish appears to be virtually impervious to damage such as scratching and marking, and with dogs this is a major issue. I’ve tried to keep my shoes off from the time Mike Rowan and crew left just to feel the personal massage by walking on this wonderful surface! The price of this product is comparable to all other floor coverings.

My wife and I could never imagine laying down any different flooring covering than Amerizona again as this service and product has surpassed all of our needs and wants.

If anyone would like to see this flooring installed by Mike Rowan and Eastern Arizona Glass, then we could schedule appointments to show this flooring at your convenience.
