This time people can't blame it on W and his connections to the Texas oil business. Who wants us to all drive one- and two-passenger rollerskates and pedal cars? Think about it. Could it be Obama and Co.?
Even they realize Americans aren't going to go for those death traps you can't take a family vacation in, unless/until gas prices become unacceptable.
He is perfectly happy and eager to micro-manage and/or nationalize/socialize any and all other aspects of the economy and of life in general, but would he do anything to control gas prices? (Mind you, I'm not saying the federal government should set gas prices.) But in no way is Obama going to go there, because high gas prices work to his advantage.

Bush, his dad, Cheney and a whole hose of others are responsbile for our excessive dependence on gas and gas guzzlers. It is certainly not Obama. "

Besides the oil situation. Why is a place like Arizona which should be a leader in solar energy doing next to nothing.
The leader? Germany?
Don't get me started..
Why is 80% of goods at Walmart from China? Experts claim cheap goods will quit be imported if fuel hits $6 bucks a gallon.
Just seems easier to make it here in the first place.
But nooooooo way to logical.
HELP! "

Why aren't we using our own oil instead of paying someone else for it? There is no logical reason for us to pay someone else for oil when we have huge supplies here. Politics....... "

It's customary gas prices go up Memorial Day, peak at July 4th and down at Labor Day just as Summer vacation driving season ends.
Happens every year, no matter who is in office.
It's corporation's controlling prices; supply and demand markets not administrations. "

Troops pulling out of major Iraq cities today.
Still "W" fault.
Remember Obama voted no on the war.
Gallon of gas in Iraq and Iran? Five cents a gallon..
Number of right wing extremists in America that still support Bush even after all this? To many ! "
