Summer Food Menu

Meals are served at the Safford Middle School; Dorothy Stinson School; Safford Pool; Onsurez Residence, 1180 W. Cactus Rd.; Vista Linda; Thatcher Park; Daley Estates Park; the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Red Barn Trailer Park.

Monday

Pepperoni pizza, fat-free potato wedges, corn

sack lunch: ham & cheese sandwich

Breakfast:  Whole-grain pancakes, sausage or assorted cereals.   Safford Pool: PopTarts

Tuesday

BBQ on grill, all beef hot dog, french fries,

watermelon wedge

sack lunch: PB&J sandwich

Breakfast:  Scrambled eggs/ham, potato patty & toast or assorted cereals. Safford Pool: Trix Cereal Bars

Wednesday

Cheeseburger or hamburger, fries, corn

sack lunch: Submarine sandwich

Breakfast: Biscuits & gravy & sausage or assorted cereals. Safford Pool:  PopTarts

Thursday



Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, roll

sack lunch: Turkey and cheese sandwich

Breakfast:  Breakfast pizza & potato patty or assorted cereals. Safford Pool: Trix Cereal

Friday

Dessert, beef taco bar, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, salsa, cheese

Breakfast: Eggs & chorizo, warm tortilla or assorted cereals.  Safford Pool:  PopTarts

Hot lunches are served at the Safford Middle School and Dorothy Stinson. Cold sack lunches are served at all the other sites.

Sack lunches for delivered sites include sandwich on daily menu, chips, fruit or vegetable and milk. Treats are served on Friday

Meals are free for all children 18 and under, no matter where they are from, said Mike DeLaO, Safford School Board president.

Adult breakfast is $1.25; adult lunch is $2.
