Jose L. ‘Louie’ Dominguez

Jose L. “Louie” Dominguez, 70, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009. Born in 1939 in Morenci, he was a resident of Nevada since 1990.

He was a retired construction superintendent and served in the U.S. Army National Guard during the Vietnam War.

Our beloved Louie lived by example for his family and is described by his loved ones as a man of character and strong principle. Louie lived to be a grandfather of four, great-grandfather of two and lived to see his and Gloria’s 50th wedding anniversary.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria J. Dominguez; two daughters, Cheryl (Robert) Rosales and Sandra (Tommy) Ramirez, all of Las Vegas; sisters Irene Dominguez and Virginia (Jeff) Walneck, both of Safford; brother Manuel Dominguez of Phoenix; grandchildren Tony, Adrianna, Lauren and Vincent; and great-grandchildren Elena Lynn and Vanessa Rosa.

Louie was a blessing from God for his family and friends and will always be our angel in heaven.

Visitation was 3-7 p.m., Thursday, July 16, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave, Las Vegas.

Services were 10 a.m., Friday, July 17, at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary, Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave.

God bless you, Louie! We will miss you deeply! We love you!
