Anderson-Loño

Mark and Kathleen Anderson of Thatcher announce the marriage of their daughter, Elise Kathleen, to Erik-Alexander Newy Loño, son of Antonio and Marcia Loño of Heber, Utah.

The wedding took place Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, in the Mount Timpanogos Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A reception was held at the Highland Gardens Reception Center in Highland, Utah.

The bride is a graduate of Thatcher High School and Eastern Arizona College. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Brigham Young University and a master's degree in education from Walden University. She is currently teaching third grade in Lindon, Utah.

The groom is a graduate of Newark Memorial High School in Newark, Calif. He served a mission for the LDS Church in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic art and currently operates his own graphic design studio, Loño Studios.

The couple will reside in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

An open house in their honor will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, 7-9 p.m., at the Church Street Chapel in Thatcher for family and all friends.
