Editor:

Thank you, Graham County, for your support of the truck and tractor pulls at the Graham County Fair. To all participants, a tremendous thank you for your part in making the event very successful.

The Gila Valley is very fortunate to have businesses in your area that support your activities. We extend our personal thanks to those sponsors: Bob Hampton-Allstate Insurance, Kempton Chevrolet, Central Self-Storage, Hatch Brothers Dodge, S&M Construction, Haralson Tire Center, Volvo Rents and Pollock's Western Wear. Many thanks also go to Reed Richins for the sound system and his help, the fair board, Manager Casey Faunce and the County for providing the tractor for the track conditioning and water truck.

A special thank you goes to Jody and Susan Crum, Waylon Crum, Ty Crum and Larry Lee. Without the help of these individuals, the pulls would never have happened. They have worked tirelessly for two years to bring this event about. If you enjoyed the pulls, remember these sponsors and individuals when you see them.

To the spectators in the grandstand, thanks for showing your appreciation for those on the track. Our desire is to make sure you have a good time and want to return again to any of the pulls we do in southeastern Arizona.

For power of the pioneers,

Ken and Carol Dunagan,

Rod Crawford

Willcox

" And if these types of events start happening more often, please announce it a couple times in the newspaper BEFORE the even happens. So many things happen in this Valley and they are missed by many because they are not advertised. "

" I agree. I miss the races, mud bogs and pulls. The county should look into a way to have these activities at least once a month. "

" My boys and I had a great time at the tractor pull. My friends and I think this is the type of thing we need to have atleast once a month... There isn't anything else to do in this valley!
Thanks for bringing the tractor pull here! "
