Tommy Serna

Tommy A. Serna, 37, of Fort Thomas passed away Oct. 25, 2009, at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center. Tommy was born Feb. 24, 1972, in San Carlos to Louis Serna and Gertrude Moses Serna. Tommy graduated from Fort Thomas High School in 1989 and attended EAC. He worked as a drywall journeyman. Tommy served as a San Carlos hunting guide and enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking.

Tommy is survived by his parents, Louis and Gertrude Serna, brothers Stephen D. Goseyun, Obrien D. Goseyun, both of Bylas, and David D. Goseyun III of San Carlos; sisters Yolanda Throne, Lolita Benally, both of Peridot, and Karen Dia of Bylas. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sara.

A wake was held Friday, Oct. 30, at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Bylas beginning at 5 p.m. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m. Tommy was laid to rest in the Bylas Heights Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of the McDougal-Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
