Ellen and Alfred enjoyed their retirement and could often be found fishing at Luna Lake, traveling and spending much time their family. In January 1992, Alfred went to be with the Lord. Following Alfred’s passing, Ellen continued to travel to various destinations with her family. She reveled in cooking for family and embroidering. Ellen passed away October 27, 2009, at her daughter’s residence in Safford.
