Take part in community’s Christmas card project

Dear Editor:

My name is Jaime Floyd. I am asking for the community's support and participation for the fifth year of our community's Christmas card project for our wounded men and women in uniform. These Christmas cards will be sent to hospitals around our country, to our wounded who will not be home with their families for Christmas.

Last year was our biggest year; we sent more than 6,000 cards, and we hope this year will be our biggest year yet. We need your help to make this happen. Please show your patriotism and join us to make this a success. To arrive in time for Christmas, these cards need to be turned in by Dec. 5. Please call 928-965-3070 if you would like to participate or if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Jaime Floyd
