Pima issues Level 2 Sex Offender Notification

The Pima Police Department is releasing the following information pursuant to A.R.S. 13-3825, the Community Notification on Sex Offenders Law, which requires law enforcement agencies to inform the public when an offender will be living in the area, for public safety and protection.

Brett Michael Lloyd, 28, has served the sentence imposed by the courts and has advised the Graham County Sheriff's Department that he will be living at 254 N. 1240 West, Pima. He is 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 220 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He was convicted by the Logan, Utah, First District Court on March 24, 2006, of indecent exposure to a minor. He is not wanted by the Pima Police Department or any other law enforcement agency at this time.

Offenders are categorized in three levels: Level One (low risk to the community), no community notification required; Level Two (intermediate risk), possible community notification; and Level Three (high risk), mandatory community notification.

This notification is not intended to increase fear but to ensure an informed and thus safer community. Citizens' abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated.
