Indigo Mountain Wellness, Toys & Gifts recently opened in Safford to praise from customers who are pleased to find a local source for quality toys, games and activities for kids of all ages.

Owners Mark and Kally Efros are the parents of seven children who help choose the toys to ensure a good variety. They feel there is a good synergy between toys and wellness. Fun activities and hobbies help relieve stress, help kids find their passion, and we all need hobbies.

Kally was born and raised in Safford, and they are excited to be a resource to the community.

Kally is a Certified LifeLine Technique™ Practitioner, has a degree in natural medicine and is working on her Masters of Herbology. She apprenticed with a master aromatherapist and studied with some of the best scientists and doctors from all over the world. She provides personalized wellness coaching and teaches classes on wellness, herbs, alternative healing modalities, and aromatherapy.

The store features Arizona’s largest on-site collection of directly imported therapeutic-grade essential oils.

At Indigo Mountain the latest technology is used to customize one’s nutrition and wellness plan. It is a biofeedback device that finds products or therapies that a body may have a biological preference for. It can be compared to a printed health questionnaire — a very long questionnaire. It can ask more than 30,000 questions and uses a library of thousands of products, including homeopathics, herbs, essential oils and other nutritional supplements to suggest client-specific wellness plans. The owners also use a system called the LifeLine Technique™, which is an advanced holistic system of energy medicine that discovers, harmonizes and interprets the root cause of symptoms and emotions trapped within the subconscious mind.

Using the LifeLine, people are able to address physical and stress-related symptoms. Kally said, “We support a holistic lifestyle and provide coaching and training to help people achieve their goals.”

In the toy department, Indigo Mountain has a one-of-a-kind assortment that includes quality brands like Melissa & Doug, Corolle Dolls and Faber-Castell crafts. The store has a calendar of upcoming events such as origami classes, model building, chess matches and training for beginners, Magic Mondays when magicians perform and teach magic tricks, story times, special appearances by TV and holiday characters, and building competitions using the unique construction sets in the store.

Another unusual component of the store is the large selection of Himalayan salt lamps and gifts. Mark said, “We will continue adding gifts from local artists and all over the world.”

Indigo Mountain is open daily except Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours for holiday shopping. The store is located on Highway 70 in Safford, next to Dairy Queen.
