The host Morenci Wildcats made their wrestling fans proud by winning the championship at the Morenci Invitational on Jan. 23.

Morenci defeated Thatcher 52-23 in the championship match to win the title, and Pima took third place at the eight-team tourney.

Canyon State Academy and Phoenix Bourgade Catholic didn’t make it to the tourney because of inclement weather.
