Free! Each participant receives a free board book.
What you do helps your child get ready to read. Learn six pre-reading skills that children must know in order to learn to read. You can help your child learn these skills starting at birth.
January 23, 2010 at the Early Literacy Room at the Safford City-Graham Count Library. Certificate available for training hours.

Thatcher Food Bank distribution is the second Wednesday of each month, 10 a.m., at the Little League ballpark by the Thatcher Cemetery. ID is required; a note is required if picking up for someone else. Bring an ice chest for frozen food.

An Alcoholics Anonymous Nooner’s Meeting is Mondays, noon to 1 p.m., in room 1 at St. Rose of Lima Church. This is a nonsmoking, open meeting. A nonsmoking, closed meeting is 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Pima Town Hall.
