Drought results in no water allocation

This graph shows the precipitation levels of the Gila Valley for the past 100 years. Bill Brandau presented the graph to the Safford City Council during a presentation by the Gila Watershed Partnership. He said it appears the 18-year drought is part of a naturally occurring dry period that could last 50 years.
