Desereé Dawn Howard was born March 14, 1978, in Phoenix and moved to Safford at the age of 2. She lived in Safford until she moved to Tucson at the age of 18. She passed away Nov. 15, 2012, in Tucson.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Howard, and her children, Evan, Ryan and Sierra Dambold; her parents, Michael and Lucia Rowland; her sisters, JoAnn (Herman) Andrews, Becky (Troy) Gates and Yvonne (Dan) Massa; four nephews and three nieces.

Desereé is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rafael and Felipa Montoya.

Desereé loved to be around positive people and said, “If you don’t love what you do, do something else.”

When Desereé married Tommy, she felt that she married her best friend and thought of him as the sweetest, nicest guy she had ever met. What more could a girl ask for? She also knew she was blessed with three amazing kids who always had a great time together. “They were awesome!” — words from Dezi’s Facebook.

Graveside services will be held Dec. 21, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Safford Cemetery.

We thought of you with love

Today but that is nothing new

We thought about you

Yesterday and days

Before that too.

We think of you in silence

We often speak your name

All we have are memories and

Your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake

With which we’ll never part

God has you in his memory

We have you in our heart.
