Two more Graham County residents have succumbed to COVID-19, bringing to 115 the total number of local residents who have died since the start of the pandemic.

According to the Graham County Health Department, there are 482 residents currently battling the virus, including 85 who have been diagnosed over the last four days. Since March 2020, 7,512 Gila Valley folks have caught the virus.

In Greenlee County, 258 residents are sick with the virus at the moment, 22 of whom have been diagnosed over the last four days. Just over 1,100 have caught it and 16 have died as a result since March 2020.

Just under 59% of Arizonans have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccination. That number is just under 51% in Graham County and it's just over 39% in Greenlee County, according to the Arizona Department of Health Services.
