The Greenlee County Library System in partnership with RBdigital Recorded Books and the Arizona State Library has announced the availability of Zinio for Libraries, the world’s largest online newsstand.
Patrons of Duncan, Clifton, Morenci and the Blue libraries will have unlimited access to more than 100 digital magazines that are easily viewed on any Internet-enabled device.
Access to the link can be gained through the Greenlee County Library website: (http://www.greenleelibraries.org/greenlee/).
The service is free to Greenlee Library patrons for the next 18 months. It allows library users to download full editions of more than 100 popular magazines to a tablet, laptop or desktop computer. A full edition is exactly what readers obtain from a subscription or newsstand copy. Some magazines will even have interactive material such as links and videos that can only be used with full digital editions.
Patrons will be able to read and save them and print portions if they choose.
Each new issue of the magazines chosen will be sent directly to patrons through their internet connections.
Magazines available include Arizona Highways, Oprah, American Cowboy, Billboard, Guideposts, Audubon, Consumer Reports, Cosmopolitan, Discover, Field and Stream, Every Day with Rachael Ray, Motor Trend, National Geographic, Newsweek, and many more.
Contact a Clifton, Duncan or Morenci librarian for more information on how to gain access to the service, or go to the County Library Website for more information. Those who are not Greenlee Library members may go to any of the three libraries to obtain a library card and also explore the library in each community.
The public is reminded that “Libraries are here to serve you.”
