Showmanship Showdown

4H and FFA members will have the opportunity to show off the animals they’re raising during the Showmanship Showdown at Greenlee County Fairgrounds on Aug. 10.

DUNCAN — Dust off those hats and boots: Greenlee County’s Showmanship Showdown is returning in August.

The event is Aug. 10 at the Greenlee County Fairgrounds, beginning at 8 a.m.

With 16 buckles on the line, local youths have the opportunity to strut their stuff while they show their livestock. As with last year, this is once again a showmanship-only competition and will have no market classes.

The competition is open to all youths from Greenlee County and the surrounding area. Friends, family and supporters are encouraged to attend.

Early bird registration for entrants is $20 by Aug. 2 at 5 p.m. Late registration is $25 until Aug. 10 at 7:30 a.m. Members of Duncan FFA and Greenlee County 4H will receive a discount on entry fees.
