THATCHER — The 10th annual Graham County Back to School Resource Fair will take place Saturday, July 27, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Activities Center on the campus of Eastern Arizona College.

Backpacks filled with school supplies will be distributed to school-aged children on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition to backpacks and school supplies, the resource fair will also feature children’s vitamins, free used children’s clothing exchange, health and nutritional services, library services, family and support services, immunization information, eye exams, dental information, well child check-ups and sports physicals (scheduled through Canyonlands), and children’s activities.

Sponsors include Graham County Substance Abuse Coalition, First Things First, United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties, Graham County Rehabilitation Center, Boys & Girls Club of the Gila Valley, Eastern Arizona Courier, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Eastern Arizona Area Health Education Center, Arizona @ Work, Safford Lions Club, Walton Drug, Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center, Safford City-Graham County Public Library, GFWC Women’s Club of Safford and Eastern Arizona College.
