A 10th Greenlee County resident has died while battling COVID-19.
According to the Greenlee County Health Department, the patient was a Clifton resident in their 70s.
Since the start of the pandemic, 562 Greenlee County residents have caught the virus and 58 of them are still sick.
Of the 10 patients who have died, two have been from Morenci and the other eight were evenly split between the Duncan and Clifton areas.
Statewide 816,782 residents have contracted COVID-19 and 15,980 have died.
