Graham County's COVID-19 positivity rate has fallen below 1%, but the virus has taken the life of another resident.
According to the Graham County Health Department, a Safford resident in the 55-64 age range has succumbed to the virus. Their death brings the county's total death toll to 77.
Of the 5,326 residents who have caught the virus, 203 remain ill as of Thursday afternoon.
According to the latest statistics available, the state's positivity rate is 14% and Graham County's is 0.7%.
