Pima Unified School District students will be distance learning Monday and Tuesday of next week due to a teacher shortage, said Superintendent Sean Rickert.

The teachers are either ill with COVID-19 or in quarantine because they've been exposed to the virus that causes it, Rickert said.

The plan is to return to in-person learning Nov. 30, immediately following the Thanksgiving holiday, Rickert said.
