Palor ribbon-cutting

THATCHER — The Parlor is under new management and has a new look.

The Parlor, located in Thatcher, held a ribbon-cutting with the Graham County Chamber of Commerce last Saturday, June 1, to celebrate the changes.

Specializing in microblading, nails, massage and hair, The Parlor employs 20 technicians and has a fresh cactus theme.

“I really like the aesthetic that the previous owner had; I just wanted to kind of put myself into it, so we changed up a few things. I wanted it to be a place that was welcoming, and all the girls felt like they are at home, and the people who came in felt like they belonged. I wanted it to be a very welcoming, clean and clutter-free environment,” owner Holly Brown said.

“I don’t like chaos. I want to make this place so that people feel like it’s a breath of fresh air. We have a lot of girls who are already established, so they are two to three weeks booked out, and then we have a few new girls who are new and ready to take walk-ins, so I think it’s accommodating to a lot of people. I feel very honored to have the staff that I do.”
