THATCHER — Pima’s Hughes Plumbing hosted Pima’s Iron Horse Trucking at Thatcher High School on Wednesday, and the hosts dominated at bat, winning, 24-2, in two innings.

Hughes Plumbing showed patience at the plate and picked the right pitches. All 10 players contributed to the final score, tagging the Iron Horse pitcher one to three times each.

Jayden Roberts and RJ Morales led offensively. Roberts hit three singles, scored three runs and batted in one. Morales hit two singles and a double, scored three runs and batted in six.

Hughes Plumbing head coach Jed Hughes said, “Everybody came up and waited for their pitch. They had patience. They definitely had a good offensive day today.”
